Can i use lemon juice to lighten my hair?

I recently had blonde streaks in my brown hair so now my hair is kinda like a light brown with a tint of dark blonde. I've read that you can use lemon juice to lighten your hair. I want to know exactly how to do it.



I wont be going out in the sun has it is febuary and i live in UK! and ive heard it works without sun anyway.

I want to know how long to leave it on for + do i apply it on wet or dry hair etc..

nooo! it only works for blonde hair. it will just turn your hair ugly orange..
