How do i lighten my hair with lemon juice?

i have heard that lemon juice lightens your hair if you let it dry in the sun. is there anything you can mix the lemon juice to make it less harsh on your hair? also, how long are you supposed to sit in the sun if you have light brown hair like me? and do you know how much it will lighten my hair?How do i lighten my hair with lemon juice?
Don't do it! Seriously, don't. My best friend did last summer and she has light brown hair, and all that happened is random patches got bleached (the patches weren't even a nice colour so it's not about application) and she had to go to a salon to get it dyed over. If you want lighter hair, buy a dye kit or go to a salon. Lemon juice is a no no.How do i lighten my hair with lemon juice?
get some Sun In and go to the beach on a sunny sunny day, spray it, when you feel you want it lighter, spray a tad more :) its really cute, i used to do it when i was little
Squeeze some in your hand and put it in the sopts you want lightened.

Lemon juice is terrible for the hair and it does not do anything...like someone else suggested...go to a salon and have it 'highlighted' or just buy one of those highlighting kits...Loreal, Clairol, Revlon have one and they are relatively inexpensive...$8-15.

*****TO:JANE 'Sun In' is the worst, the very worst thing to buy, it ruins your hair and lightens the hair up to an awful color.
PUT AN AMOUNT AND GO TO THE BEACH ON A SUNY DAY AND LEAVE IT ON FOR A HALF AN HOUR AND THE MORE YOU REPEAT IT THE LIGHTER IT WILL BE !!!!!!
