Using lemon juice to lighten blonde hair...?

I have heard/read a lot about using lemon juice to lighten blonde hair. I am thinking about trying it out. But, I'm not sure how much lemon juice, how often I should do it and the such. Do I need to mix it with part water before applying to my hair? If you have any information for me I would be grateful.Using lemon juice to lighten blonde hair...?
It is gradual so don't worry about how much.

Never use sun in on your hair, that is the worst thing you can do.

Put some lemon juice in a bottle ans some water and mist your hair and go out in the sun for an hour. You may see a slight change you may not, do it until you like the color. Moisturize your hair after each application.

I own a salon and I will not color hair that has had sun inUsing lemon juice to lighten blonde hair...?
hi !!!!!!!! okay:

lemon juice- wet your hair before you use it and if you want even streaks put about a quarter amount into your hair and use a comb to comb through.

If you want to get blonde quicker, you can dump more on- lemon juice doesn't damage or hurt your hair, it'll make it feel a little more course- but nothing conditioner won't fix

OR!!

you can use sun in! thats a product sold at pretty much any drugstore/chainstore (walmart walgreens rite aid cvs) and use the yellow bottle. it sprays into your hair and lightens your hair amazingly! its all natural, no chemicals just plant juices...

if you have any questions or w/e you can email me!!!

good luck!
no this actually makes hair horrible. try putting peroxide(no wter) and put it in a spray bottle and spray it on your hair. peroxide is what lightens your hair without dyen it and damaging your hair. try it. i bet you everyting it works. you should spray it on dry hair until hair is completely wet with peroxide and stay in the sun if you can to get more lightening results.
i tried it when i was a ablonde. honestly it works if you sit in the sun. you have to soak all your hair in lemon juice. well, i did. and i only saw results when it was soaked. besides the fact that i sat outside for like 4 hours. so if you do it, i suggest you do it, then lay out at the beach :]
don't do the lemon juice it really doesnt work and don't use sun in unless you are blonde..i'm a brunette and used sun in and it turned my hair orange...try buying boxed hightlites and only add a few it makes the look more natural and its not too expensive.
use a tablespoon diluted in 2 cups of water. you can also use white or green tea. i'm a brunette and i use black tea to help keep my hair dark and rich, which really helps. brew two or three cups of tea and soak your hair in it.
okay

well my friends and I tried the lemon juice thing out

and its really not good

it makes your hair all crunchy and super super dry and tangly

i think you should buy sun in its a hairspray that lightens your hair without ruining it:P
My friend and I used lemon juice to lighten our hair and we actually just cut up whole lemons and squeezed the juice into our hair. I wouldn't recommend it though. It does almost as much damage to your hair as bleaching/coloring does.
