How to lighten your hair with lemon juice?

is it true that if you drench your hair in lemon juice and sit in the sun it'll make it go blonde??How to lighten your hair with lemon juice?
Yes it work but you can get Sun In from any store (Wal Mart), it works better and is not as bad for your hair. It also gives you direction on the bottle so you don't wreck you hair by listening to everyone telling you to drench your hair. If you choose to use real lemons don't drench your hair, it will take longer to dry and ruin the natural (good) oils in your hair then you hair will be brittleHow to lighten your hair with lemon juice?
You CAN do it. I have done it over many a summer holiday spent on the beach,

The trick is to only wash it every two days, and put a LOT of lemon juice in (100% pure lemon juice. Freshly squeezed lemons are best) and be in the sun for a number of hours.

You only really notice a difference after a week or so, but it looks like very natural sun-highlighting. Which I think looks pretty cool
Yes, if your hair is already light and not dyed then it lightens it some, but nothing significantly. Bleach is much more effective and has a permanent effect. Plus... who wants to sit outside with lemon juice on their heads in the summer with all the wasps?!
