Lightening my hair with lemon juice?

Should I put lemon juice on clean hair or dirty hair?

And would a blow dryer work, or should I use the sun?

And how long do I leave in the lemon juice?

My hair is already blonde, I just want the roots/crown to be blonder :]

put in streaks of lemon juice in clean hair and it works better when your out in the sun because that lightens it better. leave in the lemon juice all day when you are out in the sun. it looks a lot cooler when you french braid your hair and then put the lemon juice through out it.Lightening my hair with lemon juice?
Step 1

Work the lemon juice into your hair. Make sure that you work the lemon juice evenly across the top of your hair, along your part areas, hair lines and crown areas.

#Step 2

Leave the lemon juice in your hair while you are out in the sun for about an hour. The lemon juice contains lots of acid, so you really don't want to expose your hair to both extreme sun and the acid in the lemon juice for long periods of time. Rinse the lemon juice out of your hair.

#Step 3

Repeat the process of applying the lemon juice in your hair and being in the sun as many times as necessary to notice a difference in the blonde color. The lemon juice should eventually give your blonde hair
