Want To Give Myself a Make Over...just some quick questions?

okay. i want to give myself like a total makeover this summer. but i had some quick questions about some stuff:

*my hair is medium brown with natural/barely noticable red highlights. how can i lighten my hair/make the red stand out more? someone told me to put lemon juice in my hair and go out in the sun...ummmmm, explanation??

*how can i get my hair to be silky/shiny?

*i have a really bad problem with biting my nails. i really want to let them grow out...how?? also, what is a good brand of nail polish?

*what are some brands of make up that dont test on animals?

*i'm going to be a sophmore in high school in the fall. what kinds of make up and how much should i be wearing?

*any other stuff?? thanks!Want To Give Myself a Make Over...just some quick questions?
alright, first of all DON'T put lemon juice in your hair if you want it to be silky/shiny. lemon juice dries out hair really fast and can lead to damaged hair. if you really want to lighten you're hair, it's worth the money to get it done by a professional, trust me on this! As for silky/shiny hair, try not to use a blow dryer every time you have wet hair, and there are defiantly certain foods that make your hair shinier such as salmon, veggies, almonds, etc.

As for biting your nails, I've had that problem for years. there is a certain nail polish that you can put on that is actually designed for this because i guess it has a bitter taste or something to it. but regular nail polish might help you a little bit. OPI is a great brand for nail polish, lots of fun colors and good quality.

Now makeup...don't overdo it. That's the main thing. you should be fine with mascara and maybe a little eyeliner and personally i swear by bronzer (especially Hoola from Benefit) it gives you a nice bronze looking glow.

And just remember to eat healthy and stay active and you'll be feeling GREAT!Want To Give Myself a Make Over...just some quick questions?
Well...not sure about a lot of that stuff...but here:

1: Yes, lemon juice in the sun does do a lot. Think of Sun-In! You should be in the sun at least 2 hours.

2: Milani is a BRILLIANT brand of nail polish. I have a few of that brand and they all couldn't get better!
