Lemon Juice?

I have extreemely dry skin on my hands, legs, my face even...I also have ingrown hairs from plucking and I dont want to do anything else but plucking but I heard that Lemon Juice heals dry skin and lightens hair---does it work and how do I make it? Do I just squeeze lemons untill I have juice in a cup and apply it to my face with a wash rag?Lemon Juice?
Lemon juice will dry your skin out more, so definitely do not apply it to your dry skin areas. Lemon juice or vinegar can be used as a natural remedy for pimples, so you don't want to dry the skin out more. To moisturize your skin, use a non-drying soap in the shower (like a body wash as opposed to bar soap) and apply baby oil to your skin and let it soak in. For your face, I think the best products are ones with Alpha Hydroxy in them, they are good for all skin types, Kiss My Face makes a peach face moisturizer that I like a lot.

For your ingrown hair problem, moisturize your skin before you pluck, that way you are creating a barrier between the tweezers and your skin. Also, exfoliating your skin helps with that too.

Good Luck :)Lemon Juice?
okay umm..i am not completely sure about this....lemon juice is acidic and i donno HOW it can heal dry skin...it certainly lightens u skin but that too has to be applied carefully.

i suggest u apply plenty of cream...or even see a dermatologist...

but if ur still bent on doin the lemon thingy...u just gotta squeeze this juice out...

but please confirm what u heard information once more...

it cud turn out to be nasty

all the best
I don't think that lemon juice helps with dry skin because it has acid in it, but it does lighten hair. Hydrogen Peroxide also lightens hair. You apply it in the liquid form (lemon juice you can buy at the store) and sit in the sun. As for the dry skin, try switching to a lighter soap without a scent to it for a couple of days and see if it helps with your skin.
STOP...do not apply lemon juice to your skin!! You should either use a coco butter or go to your dermatologist for extreme damaged skin to get your skin back into shape and drink plenty of water to help with the dehydration of your skin.

The lemon juice on the hair is fine so you can GO on that if you would like. You can squeeze the juice or pour the juice in a spray bottle and spray evenly combing it through then sit out in the sun for best results.
Never, ever put lemon juice on your skin. Lemon juice is acid, it will cook your skin ( no kidding, that's how it lightens it)
it dosen't sting but it tingles for a second

i need to use it on my freckles again, just to get them lighter because it's summer and they'll get darker D:

it can give highlights in your hair; search it on yahoo answers

but it sorta drys your hair

and you know you can just buy lemon juice..it's easier and probably cheaper if you don't have a tree..
Make sure that the person you got the advice from about the lemon juice has really good skin. Skin that you wish you had otherwise look it up, google it and learn what you can before you do any damage to your skin after all you only get one face.
