Limes have the same citric acid, but I don't think it will necessarily be successful in getting the color you want.

Test on an inconspicuous lock of hair first.

Don't spend too long in the sun, remember the other, unwanted, effects it has on your skin.

It is probably safer to go and ask a skilled hair stylist who can assess your hair and give you an appropriate bleaching treatment. There's a lot of art in hair coloring. Can i use lime instead of lemon to lighten my hair?
Don't do either, its bad for your hair and might not even work

If you want to lighten your hair, buy a hair dye or go to your hairdressers

Changing your hair colour is something worth spending money on
Not ideally no.
It doesn't work. The most it does is make your hair dry and brittle.
