What will lemon juice do to my hair?

i have dirty dirty blonde hair that looks gold, i am going to go on vacation and i have been thinking of putting lemon juice in my hair to lighten it and i have a couple questions about it....



1) how do you put it in?

2) how blond will it make it?

3) will it effect the color if i go in the sea with the lemon juice after?

4) is it permanent (some people say yes, others say no)

1. Put the lemon juice you buy into a squirt bottle, like the kind you may use for water.

2. It will make your hair pretty blonde if it is already dirty blonde. I use it on my hair sometimes and I have medium brown hair, it just makes it like 2 shades lighter than your current hair color. So, most likely it would make your hair platinum.

3.I do not believe the sea water will effect the color, but i have never tried that.

4.It acts just as a die, so obviously the new hair that comes in isn't going to be the color that the lemon juice makes it, but yes it will stay there as long as you don't do anything else to it. It might fade a little over time, that's why you do it multiple times to get the best and longest lasting results.

Why are you going to waste your time by putting lemon juice on your head when it's not a 'FOR SURE' going to work?
Just spray it in with a water bottle with a spray top. It will lighten it a bit but not much and it works better if you spray it on and then go out into the sun. No it will not change color if you go into the sea after. Not permanent last for a while mostly it just lightens your existing color or pulls out your hairs natural highlights. I did it in h.s. it was fine no hair issues or any problems.
Why Lemon juice? Why not hydrogen peroxide? It lightenes hair to . But you have to be in the sun. Even with Lemon juice. NEVER tried Lemonjuice dnt know how safe that is. USE TO DO HYDROGEN PEROXIDE ALL THE TIME .
