OMG! I want lighter hair so bad! but I dont want to damage it with highlights or dye. So can the sun (without lemon juice) lighten it? I f so how long and will it it hurt my hair?If a boy has black black hair can the sun lighten it?

Hmm i doubt it, the sun only really tends to lighten dark blonde hair or light brown.

If it was to lighten your hair, it would probably turn an orange colour anyway.

Try looking for products to lighten it if u dont want to highlight or dye it
Go to a beauty supply store and purchase the highlighter spray instead of dying it that way when you are tired of it you can simply wash it out.

No, it probably won't; if you're hair is truly that dark, there isn't anything you can do but use a chemical. However, I wouldn't fret, guys with dark hair are very attractive. :)
Absolutely, it's called oxidation:) Lemon juice is fine, but to prevent the dryness associated with it add some type of oil to it like olive, safflower, sunflower, etc. You can get sunflower oil at any healthfood store. You can do this over the course of a week with sunlight and your hair should lighten quite a bit.
