Lighten hair with lemon juice?

I want caramel/light brown highlights and i was wondering if its possible with the lemon juice method...i have naturally black hair but its dyed to medium darkish brown....will it work? and how long do i have to sit out in the sun for, how many times should i do it, and how long will the color last?

Actually lemon juice won't lift color. Only bleach or color remover. You'll need to go to a professional and have it done. Sorry. Oh and lemon juice won't damage your hair. But it will make it shiner because it removes build up.Lighten hair with lemon juice?
no only blondes should lighten hair with the lemon, if u have dark hair and lighten it with lemon juice the hair will turn orange :p
