ok im planning on lighting my hair with lemon juice but i need to know like exactly how to do it. how to make it and put it in and just every single detail! i dont want to do anything wrong! thank you soo much!Lightening your hair with lemon juice?
just buy products that are made for lighting your hair. They have extra ingrediants to keep your hair healthy.Lightening your hair with lemon juice?
lemon juice does have acidic properties, but this won't work don't even bother.
From what i know you dont really need much of a technique just make sure when you rinse your hair with it or put it on you get your whole head. Also, i heard lemon juice dries out your hair so be careful!
you don't have to squeeze any lemons, just buy the lemon juice that comes in that plastic yellow lemon shaped container (its used for cooking but it's the exact same thing) and use that. just put it wherever you want to be blonde, i've heard of putting it into a spray container....

and I think you have to stay in the sun for a little while after you do it, that's what makes it blonder
It works, but your hair kinda turns orange! I used to do that back in the day. Try SUN-IN that works better and its cheap
if you have light brown hair, lemon juice will help to lighten it. Just squirt some juice on your hair and stay in the sun.
I tried to do it and it didn't work! I really don't think it works.
Actually it does work as I have done it in the past. I would advise against it though because you really have no control over what color you end up with because the sun keeps lightening it and depending on how dark your hair is you can get an organgey tone.
to save you the trouble.. go to walmart, target, kmart and buy SUN IN.. it's in the beauy section with all the hair dyes... and spray that onto your hair before going out into the sunlight.. and voila'... do it a couple of times and you should be good.. i use it every summer and the more sunlight you get the better it works!
i use sun-in spray in lightener but lemon juice works too

put the juice on your comb/ brush and brush it through your hair focusing mostly on the tops. keep adding lemon juice to your comb after about three or four strokes, brush the bottom the sides, the back and everywhere, then blowdry with high heat. good luck =)
Mix one part lemon juice and one part water. (I would use a cup of each.) Pour the mixture into a spritzer bottle. Spritz it lightly over your hair until it is a little damp. Then, put on some sunscreen and sit outside with a book until your hair is dry. Do this every day before you shower for a few weeks, and you should see some difference.
it does work, but not too much, it just gives a touch of summer to your hair, the result will only be noticeable in the sun.

wash your hair with shampoo, don't use conditioner. then pour some lemon juice in your hair (fresh pressed, by yourself before you go in the shower). after you put the juice in your hair, don't cleanse it, leave it in.after a few minutes use a blow-dryer on your hair. the heat makes the lemon juice work. but not too much, you don't want it tu burn.

you can also use camomille tea if you plan on going to the beach. spray it in your hair periodically (every hour) while you are staying in the sun (avoid staying 2 much in the sun)

hope you get a great result :D
#1 i like hydrogen peroxide better it doesnt tair your hair up like lemong juice and its MUCH quicker!!!!

#2 with lemon juice just soak your head and then go and lay out.
Take the zest from one lemon (you know the peel part with the oils). Use a zester and don't get any of the white from the inside. Squeeze the juice from the lemon and let it soak with the zest for about an hour. Strain the zest out of the juice when it's ready through some cheese cloth. Mix the juice with one of the blond conditioners (like the sheer blond or one of those for heightening blond colors). Mix enough conditioner to cover all the hair. Run through your hair and sit out in the sun for a while. You can leave this on for a few hours but it works best in the sun. Any extra lemon juice can be sprayed on the hair. When you wash out the conditioner your hair should be shiny, lightened and soft. Depending on how light your hair is the results could be subtle.
