hello :)
ive heard that lemon juice helps lighten your hair.
i was just wondering how long it would take the lemon juice to lighten your hair. is it instant results ( if i went to the beach could i use it all day long and see reults?) or do you need to gradually build it up.
my hair is also a light brown color verging on a dirty blonde, altho sum ppl do say it looks a bit grey (not white grey but the actual color grey) anyhoo :)
thanx alot
byebyebeyALLO.... naturally lightening your hair with lemonn?
people are going to tell you it works, but it doesn't, especially if you go to the beach and sit in the sun - the heat combined with the citric acid will FRAZZLE your hair!!! it'll dry it and burn it so don't do it!ALLO.... naturally lightening your hair with lemonn?
It works but it doesn't get rid of gray.
Lemon Juice does work but I don't think you would see the results your looking for. You can buy something called Sun in with Lemon. It contains no metallic dyes and the results are permanent. The active ingredients are hydrogen peroxide, aloe juice and lemon juice. I've used it for years and swear by it!
Lemon Juice does work to lighten the hair... but you have to sit in the sun for it to work, and normally.. it takes a few hours. Going to the beach is the best bet for using it.. it's basically the same thing as '; Sun In'; I'm not sure if you have ever heard of it.. you can buy it at Walmart.... super cheap.,. or just use lemon juice if you have it. The good thing about his method is it wont turn your hair an orangy color!!! Good luck with it!!
Lemon juice does work, and destroys your hair less than bleach but it is very gradual. If you sat on a beach all day it would definately lighten it a tiny bit but not very much as it isn't strong enough. 'Sun In' is the best option (its like lemon juice, but better), and if your hair has greyish tones then it should work really well for you and be able to ligten your hair up without turning orange.
Just spray the sun in stuff into your hair evenly, and sit in the sun. Blasting it with a hair dryer also works though. Good luck :)
Oh by the way, you can buy sun-in from chemists, or on the internet, and its not tooo expensive!
