How light will it make my hair?

Right i read in a magazine earlier that if you mix lemon juice with conditioner it will lighten your hair.

I have blonde hair, its not daerk blonde but not light blonde its in the middle :L



But what my question is i want my hair to be lighter, but by adding the lemon juice how light will it make my hair?

All I know about lemon juice is that it makes your hair feel like straw, because I've tried that. You can try it if you want just see if it works, I don't think it really works though.How light will it make my hair?

it might only give it a light highlight, it really dosen't make a huge difference.
My mom did that and it turned her hair WHITE.

Just try it. It probably won't lighten it too much, because it's a natural lifter, and it's not chemicals.

well it all depends on how much lemon jusic u put in it and if u put alot it would make it very light so u probrably just need to add a little bit
the acid in it might hurt your hair
it takes a while before you see results. i have dark brown hair and i used sun-in which is basically the same thing but you get it in the bottle at a store. you could see a difference though it made it like a medium brown.

like wtf is that it looks like a : with a L wow.

It's all about the cells in your scalp.

I don't know, i don't think putting lemon juice in your hair is so great for it though.. it strips your hair of its natural oil.. BUT whatever you do don't use something called Sun In. It ruins your hair... Xxx
Yeah it works, my sister used to do it all the time.

The change is so subtle though.



So don't be surprised if you and your family are the only that notice.

If you really want it lighter. Try a box dye.

Lemon juice will lighten your hair a bit or brighten the blonde color at least. It will not lighten enough to be afraid to try it ...a suggestion I have for you is that if you want to lighten a bit and still in control try the spray SUN IN. I use this during the winter just so I don't get that dull look that can happen when not in the sun as much and it is cheaper than a box dye. One bottle could last a whole winter/summer season ..just be sure to condition your hair well when washing.
