How can i make my natural blonde hair lighter?

Okay so i have read that if you put lemon juice on your hair and sit in the sun it can make it lighter, but sitting in the sun is not an option. Where i live now its winter and i cant sit in the snow in a bikini! so would putting lemon juice in my hair and sitting under a desk lamp or a normal light around the house work?!

or if not what could i use to lighten it with with out dying itHow can i make my natural blonde hair lighter?
The best way to lighten blonde hair is to dye it.

When many blondes lighten their hair, they go to a salon and have a permanent or semi-perminant dye, all throughout the hair.

When lightening any colour of hair the peroxide level is increase, and lightening will Always increase damage.

HOWEVER,

To prevent damage as much as possible I suggest going to a salon and having a full set/head of highlights. This will make your colour look more natural, and mulit-tonal. Have this done every 4-6 weeks, and the lighter colour will build. You may not see results straight away but gradually your hair will become lighter. This is a much better way to lighten hair, gradually, than bleach is lighter straight away.

After colouring get your colourist of ask friends to recommend a good thick conditioner. Work through the ends to protect hair. I use a thick conditioner called System Professional Hydro Conditioner, and a System Professional Hydro Milk Spray, to wet hair. ( I dont know if this is available everywhere, is in England)

Improving the condition of your hair, will prevent it from drying out, and keep it looking healthy.

Hope this helped.
