how can i naturally dye my hair black/dark brown/brown? any recipes?

is it true that lemon juice henna makes your hair go white?

This may sound weird but, i mixed henna and lemon juice together and surprisingly my hair went brown instead of dark brown. why?

henna will make your hair darker, you are adding color, not removing it.

To lighten hair you need to remove color , like with a bleach.

Henna only adds red tones to hair unless mixed with indigo, then it will be brown to black.
