Lemon Juice in Hair??

Ok, so I know that if you put lemon juice in you hair it gives you highlights/lightens your hair. What I want to know is how do you put it in? Do you just put straight lemon juice in like you would shampoo? Do I dilute it with water or something first? Do I just put it where I want highlights? Like, in little sections? If someone who has done this a ton b4 would give me a walkthrough it would be really nice! thank you!Lemon Juice in Hair??
Me and my sisters squeeze lemon juice into a spray bottle (you can buy the kind from the grocery store that is already squeezed, but it had added sugar so it's better to just squeeze your own so it is just straight lemon juice). We just sprayed it all over before we'd hit the beach. It works! I promise. For highlights you can add more to specific areas, like around your face. Good luck! :)Lemon Juice in Hair??
yea, lemon juice can work.

but it can also backfire and leave you with orange hair.
Just enough to soak the strands. It can cause irritation if put on the scalp.
i did this last summer

and it fried my hair.

i just took a lemon and squeezed

it into my hair. i don't reccomend doing this.
No, Lemon juice does not give you highlights it is a home remedy to use as hairspray!! lol
Ive only heard of using lemon juice in the sun, i did it when i went to spain and it slightly gives u lighter hi lights but no drastic results
Somebody lied to you.

The only thing that will happen is you will smell like a lemon for days. The protein will coat you hair possibly giving it a shiny appearance.
put the lemon juice in a spray bottle and add it to your hair. Leave on for about 5- 10 minutes and then rinse.
Never heard of using lemon juice in your hair! I had a friend who had freckles all over her face when she was little, and she use to rub lemon wedges all over her face, now they're hardly noticeable!
You can just put it directly on the spots you want highlighted. It isn't very strong (like bleach) so you don't need to be exact.
just put it on the strands enough to wet them...

dont put it on the scalp, and dont soak your entire head in it. Just pieces of your hair.

Then go out in the sun. It will only work if you expose it to light.
Lemon juice, and hydrogen peroxide both dye your hair lighter, but hydrogen peroxide works the best. You can either just hold your hair over the sink and pour it in with a cup or use a comb and comb it in. Don't rub it in the scalp. The best way for it to work, is to sit out in the sun for an hour, so the sun lightens it while it's drying. You'll get a good tan too! Then wash it out.
Lemon juice will work.... but it can make your hair orange depending on what your hair color is. I think if you have brown then that will happen but I'm not sure. You just squeeze the lemon juice directly on the areas that you want the highlights!

I hope I helped!

i havent done lemon juice before but i think it would be close to the same

so take hydrogen peroxide- dilude 1/2 water 1/2 hp and use a spray bottle to spray in hair-- then go outside in the sun for a while and it will lighten over time (the time in the sun)
buy some lemons and squeez out the juice. then put it in a spray bottle and spray it all over your dry hair. then you have to go outside and sit in the sun at least untill your hair is dry then go have a shower and rinse it out.
Yeah, put it where you want your streaks. Be careful though cause you can damage your hair this way. You can see it better if you have light hair.
