Lemon Juice on hair?

I heard you can lighten your hair with lemon juice. If you have done this before and it worked how did you do it and how long did it take to lighten?

thanks in advance :)Lemon Juice on hair?
lemon juice will light ur hair depending on ur actual hair color. the lighter the hair the faster u will get ur results. start w/ lemon juice on ';dirty'; hair 4 around half hour n then gradually go up w/ time...(cover entire head w/ a plastic bag) then rinse normally w/ conditioner.

lemon juice acts a lighten, polisher n strength agent on hair.

good luck girl.Lemon Juice on hair?
I've never done that, but I heard it can dry out your hair if you use too much.
yes it does!
i did it you need to put lemon juice and camomile on your hair and let itdry in the sun. it makes them lighter but also a lot drier,,,, id go with bleaching if i were u
use ';Sun-In';. it's really effective, cheap, and works wonderfully. All you need to do is spray it on your hair, and either sit in the sun or blow dry it, and achieve sun-kissed highlights as a result. Good luck!
I did it once it did work but you have to use it every day.I think it dmages your hair too.
You put it in your hair and then expose it to the sun. I believe it's gradual.

';Sun-In'; and similar products are basically lemon juice mixed with hydrogen peroxide (with acts as a bleach). Be careful with this, my stylist says if you lighten your hair this way you can damage it to the point where if you have some chemical procedures done at the salon, your hair will react and basically ';melt off';.
it does not work insteed drys out hair bad cause splitends. i tryed as a lighten my hair . just not work.
Ive done it before, You just apply plenty of it to parts of the hair you want lightened and sit in the sun - The longer you do, The better the results.I personally sat in it for about an hour and it did lighten my hair by bringing out natural highlights but don't expect a big result as it only slightly changes it. Most people's hair lightens in the summer naturally anyway.
It'll work. It'll also make your hair dry and brittle! Try hair bleach.
