I have dark african-american hair and im wondering if attempting to lighten my hair with lemon juice will work at all. Is it natural and safe? And if so, how do you do it exactly? Ha ha thanxx :)Lightening hair with lemon juice?
Lemon juice does lighten your hair as it's an acid.
it won't turn dark hair blonde but it will lighten hair.
However it produces an ugly auburny red highlight and works best on people with brown or dirty blonde.
i don't recommend it for your hair though.
