Ok. I want to lighten my hair with lemon juice. I have a medium brown hair colour - kinda reddish, but only cuz its got colour in it. I need info like

*How many lemons?

*Wet or dry hair?

*It's winter and i cant use the sun - what can i substitute sunlight for?

*How long do i leave it in for?

*Will it damage my hair?

You cant just do it once...its something you do all the time, you need lemons, not lemon juice...



its brightens blonde hair , it wont turn your hair blonde....it may highlight any blonde you do have naturally in your hair
well what you do is mix the lemon and plain shampoo together 2 lemons squeeze the jusice and mic then ounce you have mixed add a bit of water but not to much then if this dosent work maybe its 10 lemons i dunno but ya need a few lol i hope this helps because my mum did it to me when i was little because when i was little i hit my head and the hair coulering in that part of my head stoped worlking so it was white lol
When I was on vacation in Palm Springs, the mother in front of me on the Lazy River ride was talking about lightening her children's hair by putting lemon juice in it. So, I looked into it. lol



You need enough lemon juice so that your hair is a little dampened by the moisture (but remember, it'd only work if you go out under the sun with it, I don't think there is a substitute for sun)



this lightening method isn't very effective, it only makes it slightly lighter, if any at all. My older sister did it, and it was barely noticeable (and she did it for a few months, too)



They have lightening gels, try that for a subtle increase in brightness :)
Run lemon juice in to areas of hair twice a day for 5 days, Hair will have a natural highlight!
You do know that it won't lighten your hair. It works for blondes, and even then it barely lightens hair.
