Help with LEMON JUICE!!!!!! please tell me what you know!?

i want to use lemon juice to lighten my hair because my mom won't let me use hair dye because of chemicals x\



how much should you use %26amp; how should you put it in? (i.e. spray bottle, etc)



also, i know it dries your hair out, so should i condition my hair before or afterwards?



%26amp; i heard it sometimes turns your hair orange..... is that common? %26amp; is it true that if you use vodka it eliminates that risk......?

to be quite honest, i wouldn't use lemon juice. lemon juice takes out the volume from your hair. it does dry your hair out whether you use conditioner before of after you apply the juice to your hair. i recommend SUN IN. it works so well, and you don't have to be in the sun to use it. you can just spray it in your hair, and then blowdry it!!!! good luck!
hmm depends what color hair you have. Try pouring some lemon juice in a bowl and buying one of those hair dye bursh applicators..you can get them mostly anywhere....then brush like streaks in your hair try making them natural random not to much as in too much juice but like all over and not too thick..spray bottle is like blah...then you should go out on a super sunny day like super sunny in the summer and it like tints your hair and is super natural...i have like light brown hair..but in the summer even without lemon juice my hair gets lighter i have like gold tones and blonde tones in my hair along with light brown and a lil more copper and the lemon juice brings them out more....lemon juice doesnt really get the same effect as if you used chemicals....
