i used to have really light blonde hair, but now it has darkened a lot and is a really boring mouse brown colour.

i want to lighten it very slightly and i heard lemon juice works well.

how much should i use?

and do i have to let it dry in my hair?

do i wash my hair after?

basically, what do i do?How do i lighten my hair with lemon juice?
Ive heard thats an old wives tail, but I know girls who do it.... all you need to do is squeeze real lemon juice all over your hair (Saturate it), and sit in the sun for an hour or more. How do i lighten my hair with lemon juice?
Use Yellow Kool-Aid!
how about you be a smart little lady and go to the store and buy a ten dollar box of blonde hair dye.

okie? k!
apply to the hair and tan for the recommended amount of time.

just let it be. if you want to take a shower then go right ahead.
Just get your hair wet with lemon juice and sit in the sun until it dries.

Then rinse it out. It works slowly, but it will lighten your hair.
Your suppose to soak your hair in lemon juice and then sit in the sun. But its not going to work well because your suppose to do it during the summer when its hot outside.

Even during the summer lemon juice isnt the greatest. The best thing to do is go to the drug store and buy hair dye.
i wouldnt recommend it

on brown hair it can go ginger, not blonde

plus my friend tried lemon juice on holiday and her hair went green!
ok what you do it get your hair wet... take a half cut lemon and squezze the juice all over your head..then take a brush and comb through the hair.. then sit in the sun for a while..after awhile reapply the lemon juice
put it in your hair after a shower while it is wet then blow dry it. keep doing it until you reach the color that you want. usually just a couple of days of doing it will make it look perfect!
Lemon juice doesn't work. At least not for me.
I would skip the lemon juice and go get a permanent color. I'm sure lemon juice won't last past one wash.
Lemon juice will work if you streak it in your hair and then sit in the sun. When did it, it took a good bit of juice to lighten it.

Good luck

Wash your hair with shampoo and rinse

Add Lemon juice, to your hair and wrap a towel around your head

leave for 30 min or until dry

rewash your hair and this time use Conditioner.

Now when you step out into the sun your hair will shine!

How much lemon juice,? Enough to fully cover your hair

Remember, Lemon juice is acidic
Lemon juice will only bring out light highlights in your hair, it will not turn it blonde again.

Wash your hair, and put lemon juice on your wet hair, sitting in the sun would also help lighten it a little. You can wash it out or let it dry in your hair, either one is fine. But it will take several times to actually bring out the light highlights, it doesn't just happen overnight.
Have you heard of Sun In? Its a lighning product that works if you follow directions. I used it, just a little bit, not enough to make my hair orange, and then I added about a quarter cup lemon juice, and let it sit for about 20 min, then washed. Do this until you have the color you want!!
Only if you can sit in the sun for an hour with the lemon juice (on dry hair), then it gets washed out. Squeeze the whole lemon, 2 if your hair is long.

It's really easier if you go to the store and buy a lightening product. Clairol product Nice %26amp; Easy is less than $7.
1. Cut the lemon into slices, or pour about a 1/2 cup to 1 cup of lemon juice into the cup. Then, rub the lemon/lemon juice onto your hair, but be sure you lathered it everywhere not just on your roots or tips, everywhere.

2. Head out into the sun. Find a nice spot with no shade, where nothing can block the sun rays.

3. Stay in the sun for about two hours. It is time consuming to play games or sports, or chat with a friend. But always remember, protect the suns harmful rays by applying suncscreen.

4. Rinse out the juice, and completely follow this routine for about a week. You should notice a difference.

5. Or you can use Chamomile tea instead of lemon juice. Then follow the same steps as with the juice.

tips

Collect the juice in a jar first, it's easier than squeezing the lemon into your hair.

Mixing the lemon juice with conditioner (or leave-in conditioner) makes it easier to apply, and leaves your hair soft when you rinse it out.

Put on sunscreen when you go outside.

Make the chamomile tea very strong such as if you are pouring one cup of tea, add two packs for extra strength.

try this in the summer it will work better.

warnings

Don't do this unless you really want to because it will split your hair and it wont look so nice after. It will not look the same again.

The lemon juice will dry out your hair, so be sure to wash out your hair with conditioner when finished.

Try to do this when you dont have anything planned that day. You don't want to go out smelling like a lemon all day!

Do not go in the water at a pool. Wait until you can rinse it.

If your hair is already pretty light and fair, it wont make much of a difference. Except for giving you those dreaded split ends.

Do not do this if you are going to be in an area that attracts a lot of insects. The lemon juice in your hair will attract bugs!
Ok Fellow this steps and your hair will perfect!!!! Trust me I did this before!!!!

1. Take a half a cup of lemon juice slip it all over your hair

2. Take one hand full of salt, sprakle it all over your hair

3. Take a towel and wrap your hair up in the towel leave for 10 mins ONLY

4. TAKE IT DOWN

5. rinse it with very very very VERY COLD water!!!!!!

6. Blow dry it

7. YOUR DONE ; )
put it in the sections you want and use a blow dryer on each section, or if it is a sunny day you can spray it on your hair and sit in the sun for about 20min. and just keep doing it until you get the color you like, good luck, this is less damaging to your hair as well
Stewart it on your head maybe..
never heard of that one..
i didnt know you can do that to hair, but i've heard that it lightens skin.
i would not bother it dont work

ok
